Protection for You and Your Investment
Members of the New Brunswick Roofing Contractors Association (NBRCA) are also members of the Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA). Thus, all NBRCA members have the privilege of offering the nationally recognized two (2) year CRCA “Standard Form of Warranty” to their clients.
The CRCA “Standard Form of Warranty” is issued to the client by the installing member contractor and warrants that:
- The roofing application, the subject of this warranty, has been performed in substantial compliance with approved plans, specifications and changes thereto;
- The contractor shall cause to be repaired at no expense to the owner, actual deficiencies which are the result of a failure to substantially comply with the approved plans, specifications and changes thereto, which have occurred on or before the second anniversary date of the effective date of this warranty; and
- This Warranty shall remain in place and in effect for a period of two years subject to the terms and conditions described in the warranty document.
The conditions of coverage include that the Warranty does not warrant any materials or the design of the roof specified by the Owner, its architect or contractor or otherwise; and that the roof is properly maintained. A copy of the CRCA Roof Maintenance Guide is provided to the client with every CRCA warranty.
